About Me

I'm James (he/him or they/them), an Australian living in Berlin since 2012.

I have a diverse background in research and tech, ranging from pyschophysical linguistics research to founding a software company.

I'm drawn to interactive, data-driven storytelling, especially if there's a research aspect to it. My favourite example so far is this article by The Pudding. I strive to create stuff like that! 😍

I'm passionate about making diversity visible, and celebrating it in the workplace - I believe diverse teams make better stuff and have more fun in the process!

I also love music, writing, and surprising creativity.
